"The early morning hot breakfast starts at 5:30a and is actively maintained with fresh food from a very kind woman. Bacon is thin & crispy, plain omelet doesn't have the strange cheese insides. Quick bread pancake machine along with mini waffle maker. Bagels and pastries, a few bread options for toasting. The refrigerator has yogurt, hard boiled eggs, almond milk, milk, and water. Apple and orange juice along with a very well stocked coffee cart (dark and medium roast brewed coffee, hot water) with both hot cocoa (sugar and no sugar) and apple cider packets, plenty of tea bag options. Breakfast was remarkable and much nicer than many HiEx that I usually stay at. This hotel is clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet. No elevator. Parking available on 3 sides of the hotel and the building was very well lit all the way around. Parking lot on one side is a bit small, but there is overflow parking around the back. We stayed a single night on our Death Valley NP road trip weekend. Easy check-in with a tired, but nice front desk woman. Room with 2 queens on the 2nd floor. Decent amount of lighting. Extra bar sink with coffee station and real mugs. Bathroom seemed a tad cramped with the door swinging inward, but not too bad. Water pressure in the shower was great. Toilet flushes softly. Toiletries provided are a bit tiny so bring your own. Half size refrigerator worked well to refreeze my gel packs overnight. The beds are very comfy. A bunch of outlets available, but if you have many items to charge - it would be best to bring your own extension outlet strip. One thing: the floorboards creak a bit (not sure how that translates to the room below). The hotel looks like it received a fairly intensive renovation in the recent past. Lobby is updated and looks quite nice. Pools are closed for the season. Fitness room is available, looked clean when I peered in- but I didn't check what was available. Main floor layout is a tad confusing, no issues with upper 2nd floor. Breakfast pushes this hotel to a 5 star. If you're going to be in the area, this hotel should be at the top of your list."
"Favorite hotel to stay at in Tonopah. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Best breakfast!"
"Had a late night check in above my room around 11 p.m. It sounded like they rearranged the furniture or chopped it up, still not sure. I contacted front desk and was told that Best Western wasn't responsible for doing background checks on guests? So I asked if they could at least ask them to quiet them down. Nothing was done. It got quiet around midnight and I was able to fall asleep. At 3:45 a.m. the furniture shuffle was on again. Got a nice apology in the morning at check out. Left multiple messages with Hotel manager and not one call back. I won't be back!"
"This is a nice very cozy & clean hotel. The rooms are small & a bit stuffy. but the coffee maker is not in the restroom! The water is super harsh hard water. It is very pricey $200 a night but it is the only hotel in the area with a hot tub! This is an extremely small town that used to be a mining town so…. Breakfast was ok; standard eggs, bacon, biscuit & gravy, pancakes, cereal etc. nothing noteworthy except for the coffee & cookies are excellent & are available all day. The staff is super friendly & accommodating."
"Staff was kind and accommodating, they made sure my family of 6 and I were set up and comfy. The beds were wonderful, breakfast had a much larger variety than I'm used at breakfast serving hotels (ex. Sausage and bacon, pancakes and waffles)."
