"The line progressed very fast and all front staff were friendly and helpful."
"I wish there was no stars review, we shipped more than 20 flat rate boxes, paid extra to have it delivered and insured. 5 boxes r missing with no way to track. Nobody will pick up the phone and my mail suddenly been in forwarded after 2 month!!! Thank goodness we have good mailman (only good one that I met in my 6 years on maui) and he alerted our neighbors. What’s going on in there nobody knows (shaking head) staff that works upfront trying to be friendly but the ones that work behind the scenes is not caring so mail and packages r lost."
"The Wailuku Post Office is the one to go to if you want to ship faster than anywhere! They have more than just one pick up time for your packages/letters. For example, if I take my mail to the post office by 10:30am, it's already a day sooner to anyone on the mainland. Also, if you have local mail for this island, it's not going to have to make a trip all the way to Oahu first. Remember, only Wailuku Post Office though. It's the Main Post Office for Maui."
"Entered the post office to open a P.O. box, which I did in multiple metropolitan cities and to include cities with small populations. I asked if po boxes are available and was informed yes, and I would need to comeback with correct documentation. I was slightly stuck in misunderstanding and proceeded to fill out the application, which reminded me in my state of complete blissful ignorance that the vehicle I just purchased lacked insurance, which is one of the requirements. For non photo I’d. The photo is could be a drivers license or passport. I returned with an insurance policy, progressive, drivers license and passport. I was then told that I would need something with my address. My drivers license has my home of record address, and my stay in Hawaii is not certain for me having the ability to work self employed, as a contractor, or under another company. The form it’s states that a current address is needed not a physical or a mailing just and address. I’m my dealings with the United States government, which I was also informed with a hint of attitude the United States Post Office is a private company and not restricted to adhere to one form of government regulation. That every post office. United States is different. I will not believe that. I was informed I could use a work ID, which confused me longer than it should more over the thought of every post office having their own regulation. I work I’d doesn’t have an address. This to me is another example of people under government regulation and retirement destroying government policy based on personal interest. ( votes for Clinton, although I perceive these same individual the ones that dislike Donald Trump for doing the same things on another level). ( Merica) Lady in front is the one implementing these policies. Semper Fi"
