"I feel like a lot of these poor reviews are a reflection of peoples home warranty companies (which are all a joke) and not so much a reflection of L&S Air Conditioning because they made our experience a breeze! We called them later in the evening expecting them to dispatch a tech to us the following morning to evaluate our AC which was struggling to maintain temperature. We were pleasantly surprised to be told a technician was on the way and would be to us in 20 minutes or so depending on traffic. Our compressor was bad and due to the age of our unit (14 years) we decided to replace the system rather then continuing to piece it together and hope it would last. Every single person from the technician, to his boss, to the installers was polite, efficient and clean! We will recommend L&S to all of our family and friends."
"Absolutely the worst company out there. Opened a claim with first American home warranty 10 days ago, they sent a technician out and said the coils need to be cleaned so we had them cleaned. They sent out the same technician out 2 days later, need I say my house was 86 degrees inside and in his report he states there is no mechanical problems with the unit. If there are no mechanical problems with the unit why can't it cool my house below 86 degrees and constantly running. Needless to say he left the top of the unit open so my attic was nice and cool but my house was now 91 degrees inside. So I called my home warranty back and they have them send a senior technician out and he states we need new coils and many other things are wrong with the unit. Still waiting on the report from the senior technician so anything can be done. Not to mention it is the hottest week in Las Vegas at 115 so we had to stay in a hotel, which the warranty company said they won't cover because it's not their problem. Now on day 10 I have left 2 messages for the supervisor to call me and let me know what is going on. Because the people that work in the office are lie and say things have been submitted and they are waiting on the warranty company to approve them, when the warranty company stated they have received nothing from them. Still on hold 36 minutes this time for some answers."
"What a joke of a company! We were assigned to L&S by our home warranty company,, First American, and I am strongly considering changing warranty companies if this is who they send out. I first opened the claim LAST THURSDAY 7/7/16. L&S contacted me on 7/8 and did send someone out the same day. The part they say they need to replace needed to be ordered. However, they didn't even order the part until TUESDAY 7/12, all while knowing I have small children in the home. The part arrived Thursday and I was set for install after 5 pm on FRIDAY 7/15. At 9:40 pm David called me stating he couldn't make it out but that HE would be there SATURDAY morning between 7 & 8. At 8:15 I called him and he was at home stating someone named Carlos was on his way and would be here before 10.... if he was on his way, he should be here way before 10. I called the office and spoke with Desiree who has lovely customer service skills (insert EXTREME sarcasm) and tried to argue with me at first stating someone was out the night before. She finally "got it" and advised me that someone would be out today but that there was no time frame.... at all. Seriously?? So I am supposed to sit in a non A/C house ALL DAY waiting for them to show up whenever they feel like it???? THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE! I am certain the only reason they are still in business is because they contract with home warranties. No person in their right mind would call L&S with paying out of their own pocket. I did request to speak to a supervisor who seems to never be there, ever. I left her a voicemail stating that if someone doesn't show up TODAY then I will be contacting Channel 13 because this is ridiculous. We already pay for a home warranty so we don't have to pay out of pocket at the time of service. DO NOT USE L&S!!!! If your warrant company tries to send them out, request a different company. Do yourself a favor!!!"
"I have been working with American Home Warranty for two weeks now and I got L&S AC...horrible experience (as I continue to wait for 1 hour and 15 minutes on hold...but I'm caller number one so it should be quick). First tech said everything looked good but possibly a bad compressor. He left and within the hour the breaker was tripped for the 5th time. Next day a different tech said yup bad compressor and he will submit to the warranty company. No call back so I called again and the directed me back to the warranty company for authorization. I received authorization and called back to be redirected back to the warranty company to send them a document via email (why can't they communicate directly with the dang warranty company). They got what they needed and a third tech came out and reassessed the system and said I didn't need a compressor that the wiring wasn't tight enough in the breaker box and that he fixed everything. Yesterday the breaker tripped three more times...now I've been on with the warranty company and L&S four different times and as I wait I'm at 1 hour and 20 minutes. So pissed right now!!!!"
