"Everything about the this whole adventure was 5+ stars! From Tara calling a few days in advance to confirm everything, to checking our flexibility JUST in case it was too windy to enjoy so she could rebook us proactively, this family run business was beyond expectations. The Captain (Darryl) was exceptional - great sense of humour, friendly, & loved getting us to places where we could watch the whales. The staff - sooooo friendly, chatty, informative, kind, and a lot of fun. And of course the actual snorkeling was amazing."

"We came from Texas to Maui for a week and booked Aqua Adventures for our last full day on the island (01/04/24). The crew was so, so, lovely. The captain is hilarious and was so kind to us. We saw SO MANY whales and although it’s a daily sighting for them, and I’m sure lost its magic long ago, he made sure we had a chance to sit and watch them. Adela was our snuba instructor and although I was very nervous going in, by the end I was confident and comfortable in the water. She’s patient, informative, and makes sure you feel safe at all times. We were very fortunate to cross so many of our to-do items off with this one adventure. Tropical fish, scuba/snuba, sea turtles, and whales! The larger boats carry way too many people. If you want a perfect morning with a crew who takes care of you and makes you feel like your time and experience matter, definitely choose aqua adventures."

"My recent snorkeling trip with Aqua Adventures at Molokini Crater was truly unforgettable. The guides were both friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience enjoyable and safe. What stood out the most was the stunning marine life at Molokini. Swimming among tropical fish and encountering graceful sea turtles was a dream come true. Aqua Adventures’ guides also captured these moments beautifully with their underwater photography skills. Special thanks to Matthew DeMayo, whose expertise in underwater photography added an extra layer of magic to our Molokini adventure. "I have never snorkeled before. I’m not a huge fan of swimming and expected a bit more of a physical effort. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This was the most unexpectedly relaxing experience I’ve ever had. We went to Molokini crater and saw more tropical fish than I ever thought possible. Then we went back across the bay to the secret turtle spot. The crew were professional and personally interested. "We had so much fun on this snorkeling trip to Molokini and Turtle Bay on 1/5/2023. I have gone through other companies before but this was my husband and 3 of my kiddos first time ever going. I have to say that this experience with Aqua Adventures was my favorite. The boat was just the perfect size to carry enough people but not so many that you would have to wait for everything and feel overcrowded, instead it was more of a personal experience. The staff worked so hard and they were very friendly and knowledgeable about the islands, marine life and of course boating. They performed their jobs professionally but had a good sense of humor about it as well. The captain took his time allowing us all to enjoy the very active whales that were surfacing at the time. We had plenty of time to snorkel at both locations as well and I always felt we were safe under the watchful eye of the staff. The food they provided also hit the spot just perfectly. As a professional photographer myself I was really happy that this boat had an onboard photographer to capture our adventure as I do not have a waterproof housing for my gear. Matt DeMayo (photographer) did a wonderful job keeping track of everyone from our boat and getting images. I've attached a few of what he got of my family (there are many more). Not only did he get great shots, he also talked about the marine life and the reef, shared information about the whales we saw as well as stories about the surrounding islands. All in all it was an awesome experience, my favorite from our trip to Maui this time. I highly recommend Aqua Adventures Maui for a personal and adventurous experience!"
