Reviews of Waiʻalae Beach Park
"There are such beautiful views from the beach! We met here for professional photos, and it was perfect for what we wanted. Unfortunately, we didn't take our own pictures. But trust me, it's gorgeous!"
"Nice quiet, uncrowded beach located in a residential neighborhood. I guess very few tourists know about this place. The water is calm and the shoreline is shallow so it is the perfect family spot. The kids will enjoy themselves, swimming, sand toys, and snorkeling. Coarse sand and a few rocks sprinkled in so be careful wading and wear beach shoes. Decent shower facilities and rest rooms. There are a few shaded picnic tables along the grassy field adjacent to the beach. Limited amount of free parking. There is a sign saying don’t leave your valuables in the car, so be warned."
"I visited this place several times during my stay in Oahu. For me, Kahala beach is a much better place to relax than any other place. I enjoyed peace, quiet and lack of people."
"A nice small beach away from the busy Waikiki beach. We like to come to this beach for a lunch picnic. No stores, shops, or vendors at this beach so bring your own snacks. There's a small free parking lot that can be tough at times to find a parking spot. There's a typical park building (nothing fancy) with restroom, changing area, and shower to rinse off. There's also an outside fresh water rinse off and 5 picnic tables in a row under the shade from a tree growing on a trellis overhead. The beach is a mix of sandy and some rocks. Nice beach just not the fine sand. Every time we've been here there's less than 10 people on the beach or swimming. Nice beach if you don't like crowds..."
"Quite little beach access spot with restrooms, showers, and picnic spots. Wonderful grass and palms to sit and contemplate. Lots of couples getting their wedding photos taken. Easy water access."
