"The guide in the red truck was so helpful! Said he's been there for 5 years (Hate that I didn't get his name) we found some great pieces. The showers and bathrooms were clean and the campground was great."

"The camping space was exceptional. Our visit was at the very end of the season, so we were kind of on our own in relation to any guidance while at the mine actively digging. It was clear that the crew was getting ready to end the season. Understandable! Looking forward to returning at the beginning of season. The night sky seems touchable, and you can practically feel our rotation as you watch the horizon!"

"Amazing camping spot. This is a little gem. So well talent care off. Amazing little store with fantastic opals. Super friendly kitties. Bathrooms are spotless, free hot shower and laundry. Beautiful hikes and drives all around. Petroglyphs sign. It will be at two go he a hike to the west, it’s the highest ridge. We’ve never made it there. We will be back again. This was a little oasis in the middle of the ."

"A great place! Drove our 40ft class A diesel pusher towing our side by side to the Royal peacock opal mine campground. Full hook-ups,pull through sites,bathrooms and showers kept very clean. Incredible views. Office staff knowledgeable and polite. The mine itself was a great experience. Craig works for the Peacock mine and was a huge part in all the enjoyment my wife and I had. Thanks Craig hopefully we'll see you again."
