"I am definitely not a fan of heights. And this took everything I had to push forward. Would not recommend if you’ve got any fear of it. Not much room to turn back if there are other people around you. Also, the path is pretty narrow. If you’re holding onto the wall, make sure whatever you’re holding onto is actually firm. "Incredible hike, this portion (and some bits shortly after) were definitely a little sketchy/precarious, but still so beautiful! Wouldn’t recommend this hike for anyone scared of heights, it is rightly one of the most beautiful, but dangerous hikes in the world (especially depending on the dynamic weather conditions)."

"Absolute ultimate part of the hike. Breathtaking views, must do it yourself! I had a chance to try myself to limits on a hike during thunderstorm at night with a headlamp. Slippery wet Amazing experience, not for faint hearted;)"

"Not for the faint of heart but also not horrible. It was sunny with calm winds when we passed through Crawler’s to and from Kalalau Beach. We both had 30lb packs. Thankfully the rain held off until about an hour after we made it through the day we hiked out. In our opinion, Crawler’s wasn’t the worst part. The loose footing on the red dirt/clay was a bit more treacherous. You could see where the landslides had taken place before and see how easy it would be for it to happen again. I would not like to even think about attempting this stretch in strong winds or rain. Our experience was fantastic. We truly enjoyed every minute of the hikes!"
