"A beautiful hike! You have water streams on the way where you can drink from. We saw some frogs in the river and on the left side you can find a little cave with some more frogs inside. The waves can be big and dangerous so be careful going into the water. A great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature!"
"We were planning 5 hrs hike to the falls but never got past this gorgeous beach - so spectacular - cant swim there but you can cool off in the clear river. We saw a monk seal beached to the left side, cool caves to the right. I suggest you bring at least 2 litres of water per person to get the falls, the hike is tough and rocky - we just turned back as it took us 3 hrs to get the beach walking slowly and stopping a lot."
"Epic place! The waves were wild during my stay so no swimming. This hike was one of the prettiest of my life!"
"A very nice but decently strenuous hike leads you to a nice but very dangerous beach as many people have lost their lives here. Great place to stop and rest before heading back to Ke'e beach or continuing on to the falls. Most of the beach was covered by the high surf the day that I was there."
"Hiked this with my family of 8 (ages 6 to 19.) I have to admit I was nervous about my 6 year old hiking. I kept her close and help her over the steep rocks. She didnt complain until the last 3 miles back. It was an experience of a life time. Great views well worth it even though there was so much rain and mud. I tossed my cross trainers after hiking in HI. Hidden beach had intense undertoes and rip currents. If you do venture stay in the center of the beach. Not worth it to me to swim and hike back salty! I value the skin on the sides of my legs to much! There were alot of flies bring bug spray. Bring plenty of water, start early and bring lunch."
