Reviews
"I moved from a pharmacy (different company) that was continually rude and ineffective to Walmart on 7th street. What a night and day experience! Walmart personnel have been super helpful. They listen and answer my questions and treat me with respect. I highly recommend them."
"The negative reviews amaze me. I have never had a bad experience here, and the people have always been friendly, professional, and helpful. (I lived her before they even built the Walmart.) And no, they do not close for lunch on weekdays. Every other pharmacy in the area does. So, this one is more accessible than all the others. True story: I had an eye injury and my doctor prescribed me antibiotic drops to keep the eye from getting infected. My insurance would not pay one penny (Thanks, PEBP!). The counter tech, Ashley, actually went out of her way to look up a GoodRX coupon and got me a 50% discount: she did her job AND my insurance provider's job, and did it better than they do. I'm not sure what planet the other reviewers are on, but the 7th Street Walmart pharmacy has the best prices, the longest hours, the best same day availability, and the friendliest and most helpful staff in the whole area. It's a great place to go when you need a prescription. If you have a bad experience there, you might want to pay a visit to the home furnishing department and look in the mirrors!"
"This is long because I am duly impressed. Time to get shots = 1 hour total (expected 2-3). Staff = professional, careful with our paperwork and making sure we had the right medications and safety precautions taken, and SO NICE. ****** After reading the abysmal review of this pharmacy I was nervous to go there for immunizations. However, my husband and I prepared to deal with it and go. What a pleasant surprise! We have never used Walmart's pharmacy at any location, and the "drop off" clerk was very kind, courteous and thorough in going through the paperwork required and checking our insurance and providing us the costs of each immunization. Heidi, the pharmacist on site today, was an absolute delight. As soon as I told her I was anxious about needles, she started chatting me up on a range of distracting topics, and was very effective at cheering me up and making me feel more positive about my shot and my medical condition. She was the best person I can think of to give me a shot. We seriously lucked out having her there. She was a total ray of sunshine and a careful and attentive professional. All the other staff we interacted with were cheerful, kind and helpful and seemed "alive & alert" (as opposed to other staff I have seen at Walmart and many other big-box shopping places, where they are zoned out, unhelpful and if not mean then incompetent). There were about 4-5 other customers at a time in the pharmacy area over the hour we spent there, doing paperwork, paying, waiting in line, and receiving vaccines. I am thankful to that whole crew on duty today for making my experience pleasant and positive. I am not sure who you'll find on duty if you go, but if it's the team that was in place today, you're going to be treated very well."
"Closed for lunch for thirty minutes. There's at least four people that work in this area and many people were trying to get prescriptions, myself included. They should hold their hours and stay open until six pm, rotating for lunch like every other business."
"This pharmacy has filled my RX 4 times. Everytime I take my triplicate in they spend time trying to find away to deny the RX. They even took a day to call my doctor in person. Wow, what a bunch of ninnies. The other problem I have is they stock nothing, every pill has to be ordered. This is my last visit to this store because it took one full week to order and receive the pills. They ran me out and did not care one bit. I went to Walmart because the insurance company said they have a better price, right. Bull, this is truly the worst Pharmacy I have ever come across. No more! They need to learn how to treat people like people."
