"I've been happily going to The Sandy Dog for years with my little old Lhasa Apao, but I have had a bad experience recently the two times I've tried it with the new owner. There was a big lack of professionalism and customer service. The way the new owner talked to me was very off-putting. Upon pickup, she complained to me about my dog. The first time she complained about how hard it was to groom my dog. My dog's hair was very poorly groomed, with chunks of hair completely missing. This time she texted me the pickup time and texted me that she had to bathe my dog twice. Upon pickup, she complained about my dog's butt area, inside my dog's ears, and having to bathe my dog twice. I asked why she had to bathe my dog twice, and she said the dog was stinky. My dog is quite old, and doesn't love getting groomed, but it's never been a problem with any groomer ever before. She gets baths at home in between grooming appointments, which is every 10 weeks. The grooming job itself looked better this time. The new owner just makes me feel like she is very inconvenienced by my dog, which is very frustrating as a customer, because I just paid her $100 each time to do the very work she is complaining about. It makes me wonder if she even likes dogs at all."

"I’ve been going to the sandy dog for years and I dropped off my dog like I do every few months but this time it was a different owner and I was willing to give her a chance so I left my dog and went on my way. 45 minutes later I get a call and they say that my 15 pound dog is scaring her and that if she gets bit by her that it’ll be the icing on her week, in my opinion you should keep your personal life out of your work life. Also when I grabbed my dog, the leash that was on her was way too tight and I had a hard time untying the knot Very unprofessional."
