Ho’ohana Counseling

"Dr. Bri is the G.O.A.T. of therapists. Prior to seeing Dr. Bri for therapy, I had seen two other therapists who were not the right fit for me for various reasons. It wasn't until I started going to Dr. Bri for therapy in 2020 that I saw how truly beneficial therapy could be in a person's life...in my life in particular. I can honestly say that my life has been forever changed in a positive way because I started seeing Dr. Bri for therapy. Within two months of seeing Dr. Bri for therapy I was able to get so much closer to my goals than I had in the four years of seeing the therapist I saw right before her. I am so excited to see what other amazing things I will create in my life as a result of working with Dr. Bri in therapy! From my first contact with Dr. Bri I felt seen, heard, supported, cared for, and valued in a way I did not know was possible from a therapist. Dr. Bri goes above and beyond for her clients, while also being a wonderful example of how to maintain healthy boundaries. As her client, you are her priority, and she not only verbalizes that to you, she also consistently shows that to you through her actions. It is quite evident that Dr. Bri genuinely cares about all of her clients. She is actively doing what she can to help make the world a more beautiful and safe place to live in, as well as doing her part in helping everyone who comes to see her for therapy feel so loved, supported, and healed. When I think of the quote, "You make this world a better place just by being in it", I think of Dr. Bri because that is how I feel she shows up in the therapy room every time I have a session with her. She shows up ready to be of service to me, and I'm sure to her other clients in their sessions with her, regardless of what's going on in her own life. What makes her even more special is that she also treats me, and I'm fairly certain all of her clients, like we also make this world a better place just by being in it. All of that is a big factor as to why I am now in the process of becoming a mental health counselor. I want to support people in achieving their mental health goals and in feeling seen, heard, supported, cared for, and valued like Dr. Bri has done for me.
