Paia Surf Lessons

"I took surf lessons with Ryan through the yoga shala and had the best experience. Ryan definitely knows his stuff and was super kind and patient with me while I tried to learn. Especially when it took me forever to paddle out. He explained everything really well and made such a hard sport easier. By the end of the week he got me to pick my own wave and catch it. If you are staying on the North shore of Maui I highly recommend taking surfing lessons here and definitely ask for Ryan! He is the best! It was the best part of my trip!"

"Wow, what an awesome experience! My family and I had never surfed before and we are so lucky we found Uiam. He really wants to see you succeed and is a patient and skilled teacher. We spent a few hours with him on the water and all three of us caught a good amount of waves. We had a great time! Definitely recommend."

"Learning to surf with Uiam was such an incredible experience. I was certainly a beginner and he explained the essentials to becoming a solid surfer so well! He was very patient and gave the lesson no time limit. We stayed out there for 3 hours so I could really get a handle on the sport. I caught 10+ waves while being an absolute beginner, with having the best coaching along the way to make it happen. Just signed up for another lesson for tomorrow, since it was so good. "Uiam is way awesome!!! He is a really patient teacher, super intuitive and gets you catching waves fast. He taught us better and better technique as we went along and we were catching waves with confidence. He lets you loose toward the end of the lesson and you can surf without time constraint. If you want a legitimate Hawaiian surf experience, schedule it up with these guys! Total 5/5 experience!!!"
