"I was only in Hawaii for a short time and Kraken Marine Divers was highly recommended by a mutual friend and service member. I am so glad he did. Matt was amazing and a joy to dive with. The dive was low stress with Matt sending a meet up location, providing the equipment (all in great shape) and giving a detailed dive brief. The boat dive locations were beautiful with a sunken ship and a variety of great marine life on display. Matt did a great job spotting various cool turtles, eel, octopus, and fish. "I strongly recommend Kraken Marine Divers. Matt is a thoughtful, patient, and highly-skilled instructor. He was careful to address any of our concerns or fears. All equipment we were provided was in great condition and we were comfortable in provided wetsuit and gear. Scheduling our sessions was quick and easy. We completed our Open Water certification over the course of three days after finishing the e-learning (which took about 1 week for us). We did four open water dives at Electric Beach, which had excellent water visibility and we saw tons of marine life (turtles, eels, large schools of fish, and more). "All I can say is wow!!! My husband and I took an open water course with Matt. It was one of the best experiences of my life. He was so flexible with our schedule. He was so patient while teaching skills. He gave really clear instructions on every skill. "Diving with Matt was amazing! I recently did a dive with Matt with sister my 11 year old son and had the most amazing time. My son and I are certified divers but my sister was not but he was able to schedule and work in her discover scuba dive with our tank dive so we could all dive together.
