"Dr. Hessel refuses to see patients with a cough, even after multiple phone calls. My son has had a chronic cough for months now, and the last time I did a telemedicine visit via phone with Dr. Hessel hours later I had to rush my son to the emergency room! Emergency room doctor was very surprised that she had not offered to take a chest x-ray or even listen to his lungs after several months of my son not being able to breathe. After speaking with Dr. Hartsell earlier today to let her know that she dropped the ball on my family, she let me know that seeing my son was an option but she did not offer that . When she saw my son over the phone she did not even look to see his RPMs count his breath listen to his wheezing or anything. If you want to avoid your child turning blue and rushing to the emergency room in a panic in the middle of the night seek another primary care pediatrician. This one still has a lot of learning to do"
