"Wonderful beach and lovely shop hosts especially my favourite Amanda and Robby who have helped us with all the gears for Kayaking and snorkling… heartfelt thanks to Amanda and her team, wonderful lady. We booked Kayaking the day was windy could not even do that for 5 mins and had to come over after couple days to do that to which Amanda amazingly remembered us and courteous enough to waive off the fees for that day for Kayaking. We were able to do the Kayaking for 45 mins or it was a lovely first time experience. This beach shop is right at the very beach of Marriott Vacation resort. It is not only resort which we have enjoyed but even the hospitality this place offers. Aloha!!!"
"Awesome beach. Lots of crabs, turtles, and even a puffer fish ( may not be it's scientific name). Bring a chair and umbrella just in case you can't get under the trees. I saw people fishing (and catching) as well."
"Some beautiful secluded sandy spots if you walk past the lava lava beach club. A bit hard to swim here, underwater dunes and giant rocks-- so be prepared for some bruises (or a lost toenail, like me) if you don't stay hyper-vigilant where your feet are while swimming. Expect to see plenty of turtles! Would be 4 stars considering the terrain, but I was VERY happy to see folks being extremely respectful and keeping their distance while appreciating the turtles, and even getting out of the water to move down the shore if turtles swam into the shallows nearby as to not disturb them. A nice place to spend a peaceful morning on the far end of the beach past the lava lava beach club, paddle board out in the surf on the gentle waves, or join other families splashing and laughing on the other, near the resort-- there's a spot for every kind of beach-goer. Bathrooms and outdoor showers right near the free parking."
"Beach is beautiful! Very busy, so plan ahead if you want to sit out. It’s quite a hike from the parking lot at Queen’s Marketplace. The walk however is flat and pretty if you stop to see the flowers. There is a small parking lot off a resort that’s much closer to the beach itself. Not sure if it’s public parking, but it sure looked available. Wish I would have known that before we walked."
"Beach had lots of sea urchins so watch out! The hotel staff check the beach in the mornings for washed up things like Man o Wars, jellyfish and urchins, so swim with care. Otherwise very clean and fun!"
