"Great beach. Fun snorkeling and the water is super clear. Grandkids had a great time"
"Kite surfing, beached boat, free museum, cold showers, horseshoes, turtles...Great fun."
"Great little beach with shallow water with a lava rock wall around the water area that creates a little sanctuary for sea turtles. Lots of turtles swim in to sun themselves and rest, safe from sharks. Fun to bring kids and see several turtles. Best time is usually around sunset. You'll see close to a dozen usually. Just make sure and stay 20 feet away from them."
"The beach is a bit busy depending on the time of day, and the tide definitely moves super fast in the evening, so be mindful of the waves. Would recommend checking out the centuries old fish pond being rebuilt on one edge of the beach by a local pond warden. Stay off the rocks and at least 20 feet back at all times as the rocks and turtles are protected. Green sea turtles nest and sleep among the rocks to stay protected from predators, so please leave them alone."
"It's a secluded spot off the main streets of Kihei, and if you go to the beach in front of the park early in the morning, you can see sea turtle nesting marks and turtles. If you're here at sunset, you'll also be treated to a really beautiful sunset."
