"Sakimoto pool, is it great pool for swimming laps. It can be pretty busy sometimes. Sharing lanes is very common, which I've done many times. The drawback is the 2 male lifeguards seem to have attitudes. I asked one if I could use some kickboards and he told me to bring my own. On another day after that, a couple of local girls, were getting out of the pool and asked me if I wanted to use the kickboards. I asked them where they got them. And they said you just have to ask that guy. The guy who told me to bring my own. And then last week when I got to the pool and it was busy. And we were sharing lanes. I saw lane that was open. I went to get in it. And the younger male lifeguard told me that I have to share lanes. It was normal swim time, nothing special going on in the pool. I ignored him and got my swim in. When I got out, several other lanes were swimming single also. I am a 6' 3" 250 pound injured veteran. I have a separated rib and disintegrating discs in my lower back. If I can swim in a single line, I'll jump there in a second. Allie does a fantastic job of being courteous and kind while attentive at the same time. I see she is training the new recruits. And hopefully, she'll be able to teach them there's more to being a lifeguard than try to look cool and giving injured veterans a hard time."
