"Love everything about this place except Mackey Hall"
"The flight attendants were very helpful but I got a little more wet than I anticipated. Also had to evacuate the plane because the pilot missed the runway. So overall a good experience but could have been better."
"I was stationed there from 1994 to 1995,with H&HS. When I arrived on base that day,is when the airwing was disbanded and the air station became Marine Corp Base Hawaii. Beautiful place and full of history. Bullet holes can be seen in some airfield hangers and there was an old Willy's Jeep with bullet holes, on the rifle range from when the Japanese attacked. I had a great time while on the island."
"Very difficult to relax with runway so close by. Management is unresponsive to requests to use more quiet planes. Good views though."
