Reviews of Manoa Valley District Park
"This place is beautiful. I always pick up trash left behind by others when I go to parks, but at this beautiful slice of heaven, there was none. If you go, please help to keep it as beautiful as it was this day."
"A beautiful park in Manoa Valley where you can take the family. A popular spot for outdoor basketball and tennis even with with courts in desperate need of resurfacing and cleaning. Beware after heavy rains, the surface becomes loose and clay like making it highly likely to slipping. The lack of cleaning the grounds and the amount of fallen leaves makes it hazardous to falls even to seasoned young athletes. The busiest times are during football season and baseball season."
"Situated in middle of picturesque Mānoa Valley adjacent to Mānoa Stream and residential homes. Large and spacious community park with well maintained facilities including a gym, swimmimg pool, tennis and basketball courts, facilities for youth baseball. Easy access. Large parking lot at end of Kaʻaipu Ave. Area is very green after rainy season and on sunny days. However it rains often and is sometimes very windy. Gets dusty when baseball infields are raked on windy days."
"Great water Fall. There's not a huge amount of water from the fall. The trail is rough, Rocky and slippery and muddy. But fun and amazing. Take a stick for support. It's about a 1.5 miles. Music for fun. Wear old but good boots or sneakers. You may Not want to do this hike if you have knee, ankle or leg problems. It's not an easy think hike but it's worth it."
"A great hike to enjoy if you got at least 90 min round trip. Take your time the trail is a bit slick, rocky, and winding. Look around, lots of jungle greenery on all peripherals."
