"Michele is a very gifted and knowledgeable medical massage therapist. Key word there is medical, she will address your muscle’s needs. I was in so much pain, the first massage she could barely touch my muscles to help in correcting my pain. If it was a relaxing general massage, my muscles would be happy with it, but I didn’t need a relaxing massage, I needed a medical massage to address my stiffness and pain. To my surprise I felt better the second day after, yes it took 2 days of hydrating my body so my muscles could have the full affect of her massage. She told me to drink water daily to hydrate my muscles before the next massage. By doing so she was able to get better results with her massage in my still painful muscles. I am 14 massages in and she did make a big difference in my recovery. Listen to Michele when she says to hydrate, she can tell when you have not, as there were some massages my muscles couldn’t let her massage them and I did not hydrate enough beforehand. If she gets to deep for you let her know. She still helps those muscles even with the lightest of touches. And you will feel the difference after. Healing is not an overnight success, it takes work. Communication and hydration is the key to letting her help you in your recovery. I am so glad I did stick with her and took to heart her recommendations into my recovery, I learned a lot about healing my muscles and my body. I am not 100% pain free yet, but I am way on the road to listening and tuning in more so because of her. She has so much Aloha and I recommend her 210% if you are in need of a medical massage and willing to do your part also!!"
