"DO NOT rent from Sun Beach Rentals, they are a terrible rental agency! If I could give them zero stars, I would. They do not answer their phones or return voicemails and will only communicate through AirBnB messages. They are not allowing a partial refund for a stay in Lahaina in November of this year, even after fires killed over one hundred people, thousands lost their homes, and most infrastructure to support tourism was destroyed. The west side of Maui still doesn't even have reliably clean water or internet, yet they are telling us that since this property was not destroyed, we should come. This company is heartless and insensitive to those on Maui. They should be ashamed of themselves."

"Booked through airbnb In maui for october. Locals and the state are asking no one to visit until notified. Sun beach rentals will not give me my full refund and has lied saying I need to contact airbnb to get my refund when in fact in comes from them. Over 100 have lost their lives in the fire and sun beach rentals just wants me to visit to island and not respect the wishes of the locals? Very bad look for the company"

"Will not allow us to cancel our reservation in Lahaina after the entire community has been destroyed by unprecedented wildfires. They replied “our property was not affected”, since the Lahaina Shores Beach Resort is one of the very few buildings that miraculously survived. But literally everything surrounding that building is gone - charred burnt out buildings, no trees left. All the shops, restaurants and local community have burnt to the ground (which is heartbreaking). But we are expected to still stay in the one building left surrounded by ashes. I would not stay with this company, as they will not be understanding or helpful if issues arise."

"Close to the beach and to the Feast of Lele luau. Parking was confusing as you were paying to privately park but it was open anyway due to the machine being broken. Full kitchen and easy check in was a plus."

"This place is even better than described and the pictures don’t do it any justice. We considered the Westin, Ritz, and Fairmont before booking this rental, and let me tell you, I am so glad we chose to stay here. We shared the same beach as the Westin, which was walking distance right next door, but paid a fraction of the cost. The best location on the island, steps away from the beach, sand, stores, food, downtown, and more. If the ocean is not for you, then the pool and jacuzzi are just as great, and you still get to enjoy the view. I did not expect to love this rental so much and cannot wait to stay here again."
