"Incredible tour. We took a morning tour on the Amelia K out of Port Allen. We saw a massive pod of dolphins and a few whales. We even had a chance to get out and swim while a pod of dolphins passed around and under us. Captain Mike and Bobby were great hosts, giving lots of native history and great recommendations for the island at each of the stops. Would absolutely book this tour again. Some people got sea sick, but we took Dramamine about an hour before launch and were totally fine. Definitely recommend the morning tour over the afternoon. Weather changes fast and the afternoon tour on our day got cancelled, but we had perfect conditions in the morning."

"We took the morning ride on the Amelia K. It was great! The crew was fantastic- friendly, kind, always checking in on us. Scenery is beautiful up the Nepali coast. Never imagined it would look so breathtaking! We even got the chance to get out in the ocean and swim. Saw so many dolphins too! One word of caution- take Dramamine before and during the ride if you are not an experienced boater, or get a px from your doctor for nausea medication. Seriously. Take it and bring it. I don’t think many people were prepared for boating in the ocean! I was fine but many were not. The whole experience is so much fun if you are prepared!!!!!"

"This is the company to go to for Na Pali coast tours and snorkeling tours. They are incredible! The crew is extremely knowledgeable, you'll learn a ton of amazing history. They are also really entertaining and fun!! The boats are really comfortable and safe as well, which is important if you are going to be on the ocean for hours at a time. I highly recommend Makana Charters to EVERYBODY!!"

"Absolutely amazing! We opted for the smaller 16 passenger catamaran and it was ideal! We saw just about the entire coastline even with rough waters. Saw plenty of dolphins and even a few whales breech. We did wear motion sickness patches and/or took Bonine and I am grateful. Of the 10 people on the boat, 4 of us wore patches and of the remaining 6, 4 were sick the entire time. Captain Dave was great! He even parked his boat in calm waters and let us jump off and swim. Great day!"

"Great hosts, nice and clean boat. We went over the allotted time for the cruise to see more whales and dolphins. Would recommend to anyone. The snorkelling gear was in good condition but not much to see at the snorkelling spot."
