I couldn't recommend this dance studio more. Definitely one of my favorite places I've danced so far. "My new obsession in the best way! While I’ve dabbled in pole for a while, I decided to really commit to going regularly once I moved to Maui as a way to push myself to grow, have a hobby that pulls me out of the house, and get to meet new people. Waikapu Danceworks has been the perfect fit! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, and Felicia gives great guidance that fits where you’re at in your pole journey. I also unexpectedly fell in love with the ShaktiRize classes after trying them out! I don’t think I’ve ever been so sweaty and smiled so much at the same time in an exercise class. All the instructors I’ve had so far (Misty, Kyla, and Alex) are so sweet and fun, and it’s great to be in such a supportive and motivating space- especially during the ab workout portions! I’m so happy I chose to treat myself to these experiences and I can’t wait to see how much I learn and grow here in 2024! :)"

"I have taken an Intro to Burlesque workshop and a community aerial yoga class and they were both amazing in their own ways! The burlesque class was taught by Felicia, who was welcoming, inspiring and really made myself and the rest of the women feel comfortable to explore ourselves without judgement in each exercise and technique that she taught us. The aerial class was a community class to support easing the nervous system, as we had recently experienced the wildfires and the fact that they made this class accessible meant so much to me. The instructor made the class accessible for everyone, no matter their height or skill level. It was very gentle and soothing, and I loved working with the aerial hammock as our prop. Waikapu Danceworks has a beautiful studio, clean equipment, amazing instructors and from the two classes I went to, I could tell they have fostered an amazing community around movement and expression. Thank you for all that you do and can't wait to take more classes!"

"I have been going to Waikapu Danceworks for over a year now and I love every class I have taken. Felicia is a patient, knowledgeable, and fun teacher. Her stretch and warm-ups are the best! Celeste is so sweet and her aerial classes are great. Lily is a pro at teaching barre and makes even the hard moves so fun! I recommend this studio to anyone who wants to try dance and fitness group classes. A clean and beautiful space with awesome teachers."
