Baby Beach

"Morning shade but none by midday, shallow areas for kids to play, mostly protected from waves by a reef, although some small waves make it through to most of the beach, but there is one super sheltered section which is great for toddlers. The main part of tge Beach is mostly rocky after you go out a little. But ok for snorkeling if you want."

"Great beach for small babies as there's a good sandy beach that extends into the water a bit. Not as good for bigger kids since it is rocky after you get just a little bit away from shore. We weren't sure about parking so here's a photo. There is limited on-street parking but we didn't have trouble finding a space."

"Although there's not much shade here, the water is protected from surf and also has a baby pond, making it great for little ones to play."

"We went in Early November and the snorkeling wasn’t the best. We sat and watched a few turtles come in and rest on the beach. Not a lot of people around."

"Great beach for calm waves and some sun! Also, during the week, it’s quiet. We went midweek and no one was there. You can also see turtles ashore sleeping, instead of going to Poipu where it’s too crowded"
