"Unit #1926 - old, dirty and in a state of disrepair. Advertised as a modern 2 bed / 2 bathroom condo, the only thing modern about Unit #1926 is the price. They have since removed the word modern from the description - no doubt due to that being false advertising. The condo needs an overhaul and thorough clean - it is not worth the money in its current state. There are known plumbing issues in the main bathroom, but you are responsible should a plumber need to come out (this is outlined via the Welcome Sheet - which is in the room). Why should a paying guest be responsible for outstanding issues that the owner won't fix - what a joke!! Customer service is pretty much non-existent from Waikiki Beach Rentals. They have your money and don't care about your experience. Very disappointing!!"

"I arrived to a shower with moldy grout and 2 burnt out bulbs. Reported with photos. Inexcusable given the amount we are required to pay for cleaning. Waikiki rentals did send maintenance to bleach the mold within 48 hours. I requested 1 night refund but they stuck by "the agreement " which basically means no recourse no good will you paid your stuck with it. Unsure if they actually asked owner to credit me back one night probably as they provide cleaning services. Mold got removed from walls but unable to get off floor grout in shower. No quality control over cleaning. Rest of unit was ok. If they had compensated me 1 night for my trouble and their inattention to detail Iwould have been willing to waive this review. No responsibility taken its up to paid guests to report issues"

"Ilikai (unit #2014) - The apartment was perfect for what we needed, as a family of 2 adults, 1 teen and 1 kid. It’s new, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is really well organized and has everything you need. The bathroom is spacious and shower is great. The view is absolutely stunning and the best place to watch the Friday fireworks. Highly recommended"

"This is my second stay at Waikiki beach rentals and it was another great experience. The rooms are always clean and pristine! I love the view and the access to the more quiet yet visually appealing lagoon and beach. The pool is nice and both cater to different needs such as wading vs swimming. There are so many shops located within the hotel. Everything you need is within walking or transit distance. I love staying here and will be back again! I mean look at this view!"
