"[Wedding Reception Arrangement Experience] We ordered just a couple of low table arrangements to be delivered for the tables at our Reception Dinner - the arrangements turned out beautifully, exactly as I was hoping for and I was glad to gift them to our moms afterwards. We got many comments on how beautiful & bright the arrangements were, and I made sure to tell everyone it had nothing to do with me and everything to do with the florist as I gave no direction or particulars besides something like "low table arrangements, colorful & tropical preferred". We all wish we could have enjoyed looking at the arrangement longer! A few things to note and the reason for 4/5 Stars vs 5/5 would be communication being a little rough; if you're extremely particular or sensitive, I can see how working with this company might not be right for you. I placed our order for 2 arrangements 2.5 months in advance and I almost felt like I was inconveniencing them from the moment the order was placed. I could tell in my brief conversations just how busy they were. I resolved myself to let it be - not check in, not obsess, just let them do their thing. I got a call the day before regarding what time to deliver to the restaurant, and again felt that same feeling of inconveniencing them by having the arrangements be delivered (for a fee). In the end the flowers were there on time, they were gorgeous, I was charged appropriately, and it all worked out! I would order from Blue Orchid again, I was not disappointed and feel that I got the most "bang for my buck". TLDR: The flowers were gorgeous, the communication could have been nicer, price was beyond fair, it all worked out, be chill & give it a try! Oh and follow them on IG! XO a California Bride"
