"We had an amazing lesson and time. We did a private family lesson. Our instructor, Andy, was very patient with us and having never surfed before he got us all standing up. He walked us through what we needed to know on the beach first and made us feel comfortable when we got in the water. They also picked a perfect spot for us. Highly recommend 808 surf school. We loved every minute of our lesson."

"5 stars without a doubt! Mike went above and beyond with answering questions before we came to oahu and booked with 808 surf school. He was the kindest person upon arrival, he made the experience extremely comfortable — getting our shoes and shirts fitted, teaching us the 4 simple and clear steps of surfing 101, and assisting while in the water. Would 110% recommend working with this team. Coming back to the island the catch bigger waves next time! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!"

"Mike was super awesome and we had so much fun! We had lessons for my 5 year old, my 10 year old, and myself. Mike was super attentive to our little guys (he is a father himself) and made them feel comfortable the whole time. They were smiling and laughing even though they were scared at first, plus they were able to catch a wave within the first few attempts! Mike was very gracious, responsive and flexible with our schedules and customized the lessons to our specific needs. We felt that it was a very personal experience and felt good about taking lessons from a local individual versus a run of the mill tourist company. $95 a person for 2 hrs (August), and includes videos and pictures. This is super reasonable price! I would definitely recommend hiring Mike for your family or yourself and help a local brother out! Thanks Mike!"
