"I have taken surf lessons several times during the past 25 years of visiting Hawaii. I couldn't say that any of them were bad...but none were even close to this one! Edison is KNOWLEDGEABE and a GREAT human being to be around. He is a retired pro and not only knows how to surf but he knows how to TEACH. He helped me learn some things that no other beginner level school taught and I felt like I actually made progress in my ability to surf. I can't wait to go back on my next trip to Hawaii. Highly highly recommend this to families or couples or anyone that wants to have fun, be safe, learn about Hawaii and LEARN TO SURF. Awesome, wish I could have given more stars. "I was at the Yoga & Surf Camp for a week and had the best time of my life! The surfing was incredibly fun. Edison explained everything step by step and gives you great confidence on the water even as an absolute beginner. Two weeks later I went back again with my colleague and we went surfing again for two days with Edison. Everything was very uncomplicated and spontaneous. You can feel his enthusiasm and passion for surfing and his years of experience. His house with the apartments and the garden are beautiful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. Edison and his wife are two such lovely people. They let you get to know their lifestyle in a casual way and are always available for tips or help. The yoga was very relaxed outside in the garden. The North Shore and Haleiwa is a beautiful place and I couldn't have imagined a better surf vacation! So if you want to surf and have a great time go to Edison's surf school! "Edison, Happy, and Matheus were amazing instructors. The waves were flat at our initial location and to give us a better experience, they suggested we drive to a few other spots to check out the waves. We eventually found a perfect break! I appreciated that Edison made sure that we had an amazing experience by taking the time to ensure the conditions were optimal for our lesson. Instructors Matheus and Happy were encouraging in water. They gave us many helpful tips on land when practicing our pop-ups and while catching waves. They also made us feel very safe by checking on us after a wipeout which gave me more confidence in the deeper waters. Definitely a premium experience!"

"First time surfer here. I just finished a two-day surf lesson with Edison. It was an incredible experience. He always knew when for me to catch a wave, provided steps on how I should approach a wave and pop up, and gave feedback on every wave I rode. In the first 30 minutes, I was already able to stand on the board and ride my first wave. Edison has a very hands-on teaching style, and you will find yourself catching more waves than most surfers out there. I'll definitely be paddling out again."
