"Christian was our surf instructor and took us straight to the water. It is basically a sport of learn or else! But super fun and Christian is super personable. One star is detracted because we should have been given reef shoes per the website and my husband and I subsequently sustained minor injuries to our feet...coral injuries can be nasty. Make sure you get the reef shoes! Your feet will thank you. $75 with credit card, $65 cash. Also, kind of crowded at the location in the water as there are other surf instructors and their students as well as independent surfers."

"Forget those Costco surfing school factories- if you want personal instruction this is where it's at. Lena is the man- gave me and my friend his undivided attention for almost 3 hours! Totally awesome experience. After his instructions we were both surfing all afternoon. Great experience. Would do it again but don't need too cuz now we can surf!"
