"This is the, Jungle and you will have geckos inside, they are harmless, and you wont notice them unless you look for them. The peace and quiet at night is like a noise machine. The sunrise is spectacular. I enjoyed my stay here more than at the resorts due to being a true escape. This bungalow is located beautifully in hana that makes every adventure commutable. Visit the red and black sand beaches and the hana pools across the street. So many hiking and waterfalls along the way to stop at to mention. The owner greeted us personally, and does a great job maintaining the bungalow. I give 4 stars due to the geckos and what I assume mongoose, being a surprise to me. However they are harmless creatures, that are not bothersome."

"Must stay at least one night if you are in Hana. If you are into 5 star resorts this may not be the place for you. It is a wild place where there are lizards and geckos and insects and you are almost one with with nature. The place was beautiful. If you love be in the open you can sleep in the lanai. Wish we got to stay a little bit longer and enjoy the property. It was definitely a good experience and will try to stay longer next time around. It is extremely humid in hana and when we arrived the bedding was extremely damp but since it was pouring rain it was to be expected. It's like sleeping in a giant terrarium. Loved it but some of our party had a hard time breathing in the humidity. All in all 5 stars just keep in mind you are in the tropical rainforest of hana. The beds were comfy other than the dampness. Never wanted to leave."
