"While the pictures look enticing, the jacuzzi is no longer there and the spigots to wash your car or your pet are locked up for the reasons they won’t disclose. Neither there’s cleanliness nor safety. This was a hotel along time ago and I don’t believe it’s been updated for a long term rentals. If you still wish to rent there, read the entire lease agreement, do the move in walk through, make a list or record a video and when moving out, make sure to do the final walk through and present your documentation of your move in records. Do not be fooled and know your landlord tenant code or say bye bye to your security deposit! The owners of this property will never respond to your emails or calls, should any disputes arise. They leave everything to the property manager who knows very little about management. If I were you I’d look somewhere else!"

"First, the living situation. We rented this place because the price was right. The jalousie windows are terrible and you can hear and smell everything through them people's TVs, conversations, noise, and smoke. Cockroaches are a problem no matter how clean or the exterminators treat. The wooden walkways and stairways can be sketchy in some areas they are eaten by termites. They turned our outside water spigots off without warning and covered in the jacuzzi. The breezes were nice and the rain but that was about it. Second, management is unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and unorganized. They do not know how to run this property from beginning to end. Make sure to read your lease carefully and take pictures before and after to make sure to get your deposit back. They tried to rip us off with a fraudulent bill, we attested and won. Be careful and know your tenant rights before you move in!"

"Lived here for about 15 months. Jean was always very accommodating and helpful when we needed anything. Once our 12 mo lease was up we were able to do month-to-month which was extremely helpful as we were moving off island and needed flexibility. Most residents are super respectful and respect quiet hours. We loved our time living in Maui and the Coconut Inn contributed to that!"
