"Beautiful view, nice to have a beach side view. Complex is very old. I suggest you look for a owner who has invested in the apartment there are ones with AC installed so that helps a lot. Ours has one but apparently they installed the exhaust vent in a prohibited window that won’t allowed us to use it, if we use it we will get charge the fines the owner gets so it’s like “having amenities but don’t use them”. Fortunately it’s our fist time in Hawaii so we been out of the apartment for the entire day. We been in several beaches which until now this one in our apartment complex for our luck have been reports of jellyfish stings (I personally saw a little girl get stung the first day we arrive in the evening 7pm so it’s not hearsay). We been a few miles up north and everything nice and clear; down south everything nice and clear but here! I don’t know what is the attraction for jellyfish or it’s just luck around this days. Ground floor apartments feel nice to get out of the room thru the back to walk to the beach unfortunately there’s no privacy so unless you want to contain the heat inside the room to have privacy or keep cool opening everything and everyone watching I suggest you get at least 2nd floor and up. Get one the far south side of the complex they have construction on the far north so a lot of noise on that side. Conclusion if it’s your first time in O’ahu you’re going to scout the entire island all day like us look anywhere to stay that has all amenities large space and don’t sacrifice price for ocean view we been arriving around 8-9pm and tried to go out for a bit and it’s most of that time winds are high and raining. In the morning is nice. Maybe on our next visit we will look for beachside since we won’t need to wonder so much around the island. The apartment complex is called Pats."
