"We live here too and I gotta say the application process was awesome to get in, but as soon as we got settled kids in the playground cuss and swear and yell damaging property of others cars even mine! I don’t even let me daughter go to the playground because of that. Across from us got people fighting and I thought it was a zero tolerance for things like that, also people smoking weed late at night I can smell it while we are trying to sleep, and rubbish that is not ours gets blown by our house and my neighbors house we clean it and rubbish still appears I love where we are at but the kids and the cleanliness is bad please fix this issue.."
"I lived here when they leased apartments and the process was smooth with the leasing agent Jacqueline. We moved in the 3 bdrm 2 bath. I enjoyed living here. Nobody really bothers you. Nice community. Before our lease ended, I applied for the housing. We was put on the interest list, then the waiting list and more than 6 months later, we got a call from Dexter asking if we’re still interested. We said yes and he set us up for an interview in May. Interview went well, paid the application fees and Dexter told us to expect a call or email. 2 months later after the interview, July, he called while my Husband was at work. Dexter told my Husband that he’ll call back on his day off. My husband’s day off came, he didn’t call. So the following week came, my Husband called and Dexter told him that he’ll call him back. So we waited for his call. No calls or emails whatsoever. It’s the ending of August and my Husband calls Dexter following up on our application/interview and Dexter says “we thought you guys weren’t interested anymore. We tried calling you and I emailed you” And my Husband tells him that we didn’t receive any calls or emails. Dexter just said “I don’t have your file right now, I’m going to look for it and call you back”. He hasn’t called back. Dexter, if you’re reading this, please stop lying. I don’t understand how we wouldn’t be interested…like we went through the interview process, I went to get a cashiers check for the application fees. I’d understand if we called and said we’re not interested or if YOU CALLED and we told you that we’re not interested. But, you didn’t call or email back. WASTE OF OUR TIME SMH. And to lie to us saying that you called us, left voicemails and emails. Just tell us straight up a reason why we didn’t get in, which I don’t understand because our income met the requirements. I think they’re picky on tenants."
"Wanted to say thank you to both Dexter and Erica for all your continued help and guidance in the application process. They arealways there for my questions and email Follow up in a timely matter. I first meet both when applying at Hale Moena and was very excited to know that they are also on the Keahumoa team. Thank you again."
"Spent months speaking to their leasing agents only to be ghosted time and time again. They'd call and ask if I'd be interested in a unit since I was on a wait list, then I'd never hear back. I called probably hundreds of times and spoke to a handful of people. They just recently sent me an email letting me know they've been trying to get a hold of me.....lol...was then was told they'd just start working there this week but I have almost a years worth of emails going back and forth with this specific employee. It honestly probably just comes down to luck with getting a place here. You just have to be at the right place and the right time. Terrible customer service."
"If i could give this place's customer service a zero, i would. While we initially had a pretty good experience with Brandon showing us around and telling us about the requirements for this type of project, that quickly changed. We had set up an appointment with Brandon to provide all required documentation to start the application process. When we show up, i learn that someone we'd never seen or heard of before was the one that would conduct the process. No big deal for me, but this person wasn't even aware that we would be there that day. There was no communication between this woman and Brandon so she got upset because she had "another interview" set up and didn't have any time for us. While I can understand being blindsided like that, there was no reason for this woman to treat us like we were criminals. We were customers like everybody else and I would've appreciated if she would've simply told us that, and found a solution for the problem. Instead she begrudgingly takes our paperwork and goes away to do calculations to see if we qualify. We ended up not qualifying, which sucked because we were told differently during that initial contact with Brandon. I understand this project is income-based, so obviously a lot of people will not qualify. But they have to get their pitch straight and tell you all the little things (like projected income) why you would not qualify so you don't go to waste your time. We ended up leaving very upset. A couple of hours later I receive a call back from Keahumoa trying to set up a time for an interview. I found that very strange, since we were already told we didn't qualify. So I accept because the units do look great, and I liked the area where the project was located. We go to the interview the very next day, and we get attended by somebody completely different. I found the whole thing very strange, because I'm pretty sure that guy already knew we did not qualify, so what was up? We end up leaving all required documentation and leave with the expectation that we would be called fairly soon to tell us if we qualified or not. Nothing happened, until almost 6 weeks later. Keahumoa calls asking if we were still interested in renting with them. Are you kidding me? When did they think we needed to move? No thanks, nobody likes to be treated like that, and on top, waste your time. Your team needs to talk to each other and if somebody comes in unexpectedly, you should still give them the customer service experience that you boast about."
