About the Business
The Airport Animal Quarantine Holding Facility is located at Wikiwiki Bus in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. If you need assistance in a different language, please call (808) 973-9496 for free translation services. The facility is responsible for holding animals in quarantine before they can be released to their owners. It is important to schedule FAVN testing well in advance to ensure timely processing. Failure to do so may result in delays in obtaining a Neighbor Island Inspection Permit. Pets arriving at neighbor islands must have prior reservations with approved veterinary facilities. Owners must follow all procedures to avoid denial of entry at Kona, Kahului, or Lihue Airport. Neighbor Island Inspection Permits will be emailed to the primary owner once the pet qualifies. Pets can fly directly into Honolulu without a permit. Inspection hours at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Pets arriving late may be held overnight for inspection the next morning. Hawaii's quarantine laws are in place to protect residents and pets from rabies. Dogs and cats must comply with import requirements to prevent the spread of rabies in Hawaii. Be sure to read and understand the regulations before importing pets to Hawaii.

Reviews
"Extremely quick process. About a 8 minute walk from the domestic terminal and was very easy to find. Great service!"
"The people who process your animal through this facility are kind, efficient, and nurturing. I have traveled with my pet twice a year for the last seven years and never had a negative experience!"
"We moved in SEP of 2022 and brought our dog and cat in with us. This facility is outdated and the employees were uninterested in making this process smooth. Be prepared to simply pick up your animals with no care or concern for them or you. They seem to look at themselves as a means to deliver the animals and do nothing to be sure they are not scared, let alone comfortable. I found every interaction with this facility sterile and stereotypically "government.""
"Got my pet fast after the flight, workers at Animal Quarantine Holding Facility really care about animals and their owners. I’ve waited 20-30 mins. Make sure you check in at the door before waiting in line."
"As long as you have all of your documents for your beloved pet squared away before you go to pick them up you should have no issues here. The only downside to this place is that it is kind of a pain to find. Parking is on the curb outside the entrance. It looks like you should not park there, but the staff allows it. Once you pass Terminal 1 on the ground level at the Airport, just take a Right to where it says Ewa Service road and follow it until you come across the Blue sign that Says Airport Animal Quarantine Facility. The staff here is extremely helpful and friendly to all pets."
