"Unit C2 rented from Hestara. Do NOT rent this unit!!! The location of Sealodge cannot be beat. We had an ocean view from the porch & mountain views from the kitchen. That’s the only good news here. This place is shabby but most definitely not chic! I would use terms like run down, neglected, beat up & worn out. The list of issues is long but I will narrow it down to a few of the most egregious. —bathroom linoleum ripped in many places (appeared not to be a recent happening as curled at edges which presented a frequent tripping hazard) —hole in bathroom wall —baseboards missing in much of unit —patio door & all windows difficult to open & close; many locks nonfunctional (wood stick provided in lieu of functioning locks) —patio screen ripped —screen fasteners broke &/or missing; we purchased duct tape to secure screen in place by front door —questionable mold where wall meets ceiling outside bathroom —cockroaches in unit Almost all of these issues could be resolved quickly & affordably if there was desire on part of owner/management to do so. I have attached photos so any prospective renters can see for themselves what awaits them in unit C2. As originally stated, do NOT rent this unit!!!"

"Great location, we stayed 6 ninghts in November. Views to ocean through 3 large windows are amazing! Everything you need in kitchen, comfy king bed. We liked the outdoor patio with table and chairs with front view to ocean. We were poaitively surprised to find even beach chairs, umbrella and bodysurf - all you need for the beach. Neighbourhood in Princeville is upscale with golf club nearby. Famous Hanaley beach 15 min by car. Sunrise and sunset are visible near apartment. Our apartment was 1 bedroom, living room, full kitchen. Other top attractions we liked the most : hike from Kalalau to Hanakapi beach; catamaran trip with snorkeling to Napali coast; Hanaley beach; Waimea canyon; Kauai Hindu monastery; Luau Kalamaku. Aloha!"

"View was amazing... Rest was meh... Landscaping was kept but the buildings could have used some attention about 10 years ago... Cedar shake siding was old and rotting out in areas and all looked very badly discolored like it had not been kept up. The interior was much more late 70s lakeside cabin than modern ocean side condo. There was no climate control hot or cold, and no ceiling fans. The balcony was small and didn't look terribly safe. While the appliances were updated the decor and furniture was a few decades behind in our unit. The price of the cabin was fair, but only for that view of the sunrise every morning."

"Fantastic place overlooking cliffs on the North shore of Kauai. We've been there twice now, once in the C building and once in the B building. C is on the cliff side of the complex and gets better breeze, views, and sounds of the ocean. There is a pool available, though we never used it, since you can walk down to a semi-private beach on a jungle trail. Pictures are of the A building and some from the cliffside."
