"Got my babies from here ❤️ helpful staff and clean facility. The animals are well taken care of!"
"This place is so nice! There were 3 dog houses and 2 cat houses. There are tables to sit and relax and areas to visit with potential pets. The facility is cozy, but on hot days you will quickly remember that you are in Ewa and the heat from the sun is real! The people are friendly and we loved visiting and seeing pets being adopted. On the day that we went, they were doing a pet food drive and it was nice to see that families in need of pet food could come and get what they needed. The portion seemed pretty generous and the people that we saw walked away with smiles on their face. I’m so glad this is here in our community and knowing the spay and neuter operations are coming soon is great news! People on the west side need this. The only sad thing was that the dogs clearly wanted to find their furever home and they seemed sad when we walked away, and when anyone walked away. They did like the attention, but walking away was hard and they seemed to cry. The cats seemed to be easier to visit because eventually they chose to walk away after getting their fill of excitement."
"We found the sweetest girl to adopt when we went on Sunday, September 3rd. She warmed up so quickly. She has no stopped purring since we got home and got all her stuff set up. This sweet baby was a stray for the first couple months of her life and she wouldn’t have ever been a part of our family if it wasn’t for the humane society. The Ewa Beach location is beautiful and the staff is great. They explained her medical and behavioral history. They told us when she was spayed and when her next set of shots is due. They explained how her microchip worked and make sure I got the email with her medical history, microchip information, and adoption contract. They gave us a bunch of coupons and a list of vets that will give us a free visit in the first 7-14 days. I highly recommend getting your next pet/fur baby from them."
"Amazing place!! Staff were super helpful and patient when my daughter was trying to decide which dog to adopt. They maintained a medical history and history of events in the dog's life. Dog was fully vaccinated, and we even received a bag of food and Leash to assist with the transition. I give this organization my highest recommendation/ endorsement as both a father and an honored adopter. Thank you for blessing our home with this hyperactive dog!!!"
"Great Staff. The facility is top notch. The animals are well cared for and the kennels are Very clean. The Pet food bank hours are different from what their web site says. They are now 10 am to 1pm Sunday and Wednesday only. The gentleman I spoke with at the Resources counter said he did not have food for my large breed German Shepherd but to come back Sunday or go to the Honolulu facility on Friday. Google maps takes you directly to the facility. Currently google maps is not updated with the latest pics because the goggle mobile has not made pics yet. Located on Old Fort Weaver road at the intersection. Driveway is on old ft weaver. Mahalo aaand Aloha"
