"I’m afraid that I made a terrible error in a previous review. I said that the owner didn’t make one aware about animals on the property. I’m the one that evidently can’t read! She made it VERY clear that there was a kennel nearby. I am at fault for not reading the entire entry. I was so captivated by the beautiful photographs, that apparently I didn’t read it all. I'm ashamed to say that all the information was even in my welcome email, and I didn't even read that. First of all, I want to make it abundantly clear that when the owner said that the cottage is well-insulated, it couldn’t have been done better, and is extremely quiet and peaceful. This property is new, clean, comfy and well-appointed. I know that many places on Hawaii don’t have air-conditioning, especially on this cooler side, but this home does and it works well and adds to the quiet. In the mornings my husband and I were able to enjoy our coffee on the lanai, taking in the lovely yard. I especially loved the palm trees. It is truly a beautiful setting, and we loved being in the country away from a busy city, yet close enough to access all the sights we planned to see. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this charming property. The owner was good to work with, responded quickly to questions beforehand and made us feel very welcome."
