"The moment I enter the door I already know that this place is not clean! The smell of the inside is really bad. The mattress cover has a lot of stains! With no bed covers! As a nurse, it's kinda disgusting and disappointing for our group! We have no choice but to stay because we arrived late and no more lodges will accept us without prior notice. It's cheap yes but not worth it and then you have to stay with other people. The place is poorly maintained. If your looking for a nice place to stay try considering Volcano Inn."

"This feels like staying in a friend's cabin more so than a hostel. The kitchen was fantastic and a great place to hang out. The place is immaculately clean-- no bugs. I very much enjoyed looking at the national geographic collection as well."

"My husband and I had planed to camp in Volcano, but had been rained out. This place was a wonderful find and I cannot say enough about the experience. The hostel was immaculate run by a very sweet older gentleman. There is a fully stocked kitchen and laundry facilities on site. The house itself is set in a bit of a jungle setting in an area where gardens are allowed to grow a little more wild though still set right near the main road and the park. There were dorms available, we opted for a private room, and ended up sleeping in one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in in any budget room EVER. I 100 % recommend this place- over anything else in the area. One of the best places I have ever stayed at in any country I have ever been to."
