"The Aloha Guest House is hands down the most amazing BnB experience we’ve ever had, bar none. My husband and I stayed in the Halawi Room for four nights and did not want to leave. Other reviews have called the five acre grounds paradise and it really is. We loved taking strolls through the beautiful trees (mango, calamansi limes, surinam cherry, lychee, just to name a very small few) and saying hi to the happiest chickens. Our room came with the most stunning view (there’s nothing quite like waking up to the sun rising above the waters), the BEST shower and access to a spacious and screened lanai, one of our favorite spots for reading and watching the sunset. The room is super clean and luxurious and had really thoughtful touches like waffle cotton robes and slippers. If this review sounds like praise after praise, it’s because what Lee and Svetlana have done here is what I think people dream about when they stay at BnBs. There is craft and beauty everywhere. Just a few examples are the quadruple water filtering system they’ve set up so that water from every faucet is deliciously drinkable and left my hair SO soft; the vanilla extract in the homemade banana bread that Svetlana makes from manually pollinating each vanilla flower, and the beautiful landscaping so that every view from every window is breathtaking. A last few things to note, what every review says about the quality of the food here is absolutely true. We found Svetlana’s cooking to ruin us for breakfast anywhere else on the island. They served a variety of fruits from their farm, some of which I had never tasted (jaboticaba, sapote) and others I’d had before, but never realized could taste this good (starfruit and their many kinds of citrus). This fruit is just part of an amazing farm to table experience - beautiful golden yolk eggs and homemade jams and yogurt. Also they have all the amenities available for our daily excursions e.g. beach towels, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, etc. Lee and Svetlana are also wealths of knowledge, we learned so much about the history of the island, and gardening from them both. We hope everyone has the opportunity to stay here, it’s truly so unique and special."

"My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at the Aloha guesthouse. The rooms are immaculate and the view is stunning. It is conveniently located near Captain cook and all the great snorkeling spots are close by. The property is a 5-acre fruit farm and Lee was gracious enough to give us a tour. The best part of stay has to be Svetlana’s breakfast. I used to wake up excited about what we would have for breakfast that day :) It is truly a tropical paradise. I would love all my friends and family to experience Lee and Svetlana’s hospitality."

"Best bed&breakfast experience ever! The Aloha guest house is a gem, in a beautiful and quiet spot surrounded by nature. The rooms are stunning, breakfast is amazing with only fresh organic ingredients mainly produced by the farm itself. Lee and Svetlana are such great guests, that provided very helpful reccomendations to explore the Big Island. Don't be afraid of the road, you won't be disappointed when you arrive there. Highly recommended!"

"Aloha Guest House b&b is a truly magical place! Lee and Svetlana are amazing hosts. We really loved our 3 night stay in the Kohola room - all of the windows made it amazing to watch every sunset and wake up to the sounds of nature was very relaxing. Svetlana makes the best breakfast on the island hands down! The organic fruit right from their property was delicious as well as the coffee ! It was so enjoyable to sit with the hosts and other guests every morning for breakfast and get recommendations for our trip. My husband and I cannot recommend staying here enough. We can’t wait to come back someday! Just make sure you have a high clearance vehicle for the bumpy road up to the b&b and you’re set."

"I wish that I could give the Aloha Guest House more than 5 stars! We had an absolutely wonderful four night stay and I already want to go back. Lee and Svetlana are thoughtful hosts and the property is well maintained, rooms are incredibly clean, and there are beautiful views. The breakfasts are incredibly delicious with fresh ingredients and it is a great time to get recommendations on what to do on the island. We enjoyed our evenings out on the lanai drinking wine, playing cards, and watching the sun set."
