My school group came to stay here with no barriers and it was more than comfortable staying here even if we were camping in the yard."

"Awe-inspiring views from the private glamping tents (see photo)! We spent a day taking it easy at Waipio Lodge, and the owner (Greg) took such wonderful care of us. He’s a genuinely kind and thoughtful dude, and a truly excellent host. Unwinding here was the highlight of our day, and would super recommend it for the glamping tents. Would also recommend for those who don’t mind shared living spaces with private rooms. Thanks so much, Greg!"

"We spent three nights here at this wonderful hostel in a historic Hawaiian house, enjoying our private room, a shared commons with library, refrigerator, and coffee counter, and large shared bathroom with great water heat and pressure. For more fun, we tried the outdoor shower and toilets as well. Free oranges and macadamia nuts from the tree were a bonus. The back yard has a refreshing view of the sea and Maui. Our hosts were the best experience, sharing so much about the house and themselves. They also guided us to a great hiking adventure in the Waipio Valley only 5 minutes away. We would gladly stay here again."
