Waikōloa Colony Villas

"We came here through an Airbnb rental with vacasa. It is a great townhouse community with tennis courts and a pool. The quiet hours are nice and our spot had a dedicated parking space as we weren't allowed to park in the garage as we saw with some other units. The property has a gate (safe), is well manicured, and is kept up (no peeling paint or run down buildings). Some downsides during our stay: construction around pool area, scheduled bug spraying in the unit, and other patrons parking in our space giving us nowhere else to park. Otherwise it was good!"

"If you are looking for a vacation rental for a week or two then you probably can'r go wrong with this place. Nice complex with nice amenities, though not very conveniently located. However, if you are looking to buy a vacation rental condo then stay far away from this place. It's probably the most mismanaged complex in the resort area, run by ineffective Board of Directors, and AOAO management company that doesn't care about anything, and the complex have a Site Manager who is totally useless. I bought a condo there four years ago, and regret it ever since."

"Nice units, though most have a lot of "rules." Only single parking spaces with no guest parking so you will need to use the garage, if you fit, for a second car. Lots of renting, so check the pantry/closets for things you think you might need like coffee filters or detergent. 2nd pool closed for maintenance, which is too bad, as the pools are on the smaller side to begin with. Big complex so you can be far from others in your party if you can't get units together. Would repeat, but would look to other options first."

"It's condos, so every condo and owner is different. Our condo was very clean and well stocked. AC barely worked. The pool was crowded. The on site staff are exceptionally rude and burned out. 2 mile walk to the beach. Insuffient parking"

"I've stayed here twice in just under a year; the units are spacious and well equipped... there's a good pool complex with gas grills. Most importantly, it's close to golf (2min away) and two shopping / dining complexes in Queen's Marketplace and the King's Shops. Access from the highway is easy and the units are available at prices less than a hotel room 1/3 the size. Central air too. You have to choose your unit wisely...some have one bedroom downstairs and another upstairs while some have two bedrooms on the upper level."
