In fact, Mike and Jess are the reason my family is so passionate about diving after being introduced by them years ago! I cannot say enough great things about Mike and Jess, they are some of the most generous, patient, kind and knowledgeable people. They provide the most comfortable experience for any skill level and have some great snacks too, Hawaiian grown fruits, and Jess’s muffins are the fan favorite!"

"We dove with Mike and Jess aboard Moonshine on 1/15/2024. Mike and Jess were amazing and knowledgable. Mike was extremely helpful from the moment we step aboard Moonshine. Jess being a marine biologist was beyond awesome to dive with. Before the dive she briefed on what we would see and had color photos of everything we were looking for on the dive. Moonshine is the nicest dive boat I have every been on, total custom build and to mike and jess specifications. Snacks were local and great too. We defiantly be diving with them again."

From scuba training to snorkeling to night dives, they are well versed in patience with different skill levels and offer a comfort on the water we haven't felt before. The boat, equipment, fresh fruit and muffin snacks, education, and personalities are all top notch. "Liquid Cosmos is unique and above par in so many ways. First, you will likely dive with a Marine Biologist who knows everything about Hawaiian sea-life - names of all the critters, the best places to find rare/difficult to view creatures, fish behavior, how they mate/eat/sleep. Second, Moonshine is a great dive boat - handles the water well, easy to gear up and get on/off, and Captain Mike is fabulous with safety as his top priority. As a bonus for me (62 year old female with lousy knees), they are willing to help me as needed to safely get in/out of the water depending on how my joints are behaving that day. Lastly, they practice what they preach and are wildly environmentally aware and present. From serving fresh fruit and vegan snacks to always picking up trash or fishing line/hooks they find while diving they clearly love the ocean and conservation is woven into all aspects of their business. You will not be disappointed!"

"The more my wife and I dive, the more we love it! Oftentimes, I center our vacations and plans around the best dive shops. Where we stay, when we arrive and the rest of our schedule starts with diving. We were so happy to have found Mike and Jess at Liquid Cosmos Divers. Their love for the ocean extended beyond the waters and included us. I've never dove with anyone that had such enthusiasm and knowledge for what lies beneath the water. I am a better diver today because of them. I experienced and learned so much about a wide array of sea life. They are worth traveling to the Big Island to dive with. Their boat is also quite amazing!
