"One of my favorite affordable options on the island. I like everything about staying here. The owners and staff live on property so if you have a problem they are there to help you solve. I love that you get to know the other guest. We all, but the cottage, share the kitchen for meal prep and the outdoor space is communal as well. There are fruit trees on property for the guest to consume. I ate my share of papayas. Also love the hibiscus room which is a little private room to the rear of the property. Pineapple fields are to the west. Probably my favorite feature is the out door shower. The ocean is about a 15minute drive. For the price there's not a better place to stay especially in the Upcountry"

"The important thing to note is that this is NOT what most people would consider a bed and breakfast. There were cockroaches found in the room and one of the other guest's room. Service is non existent and the breakfast is just instant oatmeal. This is a nicer hostel and nothing more. The only good thing about this place is the location."

"Location is central to the island and overall the prices were fair for a place to sleep. Service? I had no idea that there was any service, plus no signage starting rules or how the operation worked. After looking at their website again, it does have "hostel" listed under the reviews section on Google. Have stayed at hostels on 3 different continents, but unfortunately outside of being on the beautiful island of Maui, this location did not make my top 10 list. Positives -Bed, very comfortable and nice crisp clean bedding. -Location -Costs -Sizable kitchen, plenty of sheets and towels Dings -Services we nil - Walls are very thin -Poor ventilation with no cooling -Room security was almost non existent -Someone helped themselves to our provisions Would I stay here again? I might, as the price was fair, high for a hostel, as it is not a Bed & Breakfast as advertised."
