"This is definitely a shop YOU MUST GO to when you go to Hawaii. Why? Because who doesn't want to have not only welcoming customer service, but also your own fashion guru, for absolutely free! Yes, for free!!!! The cashier (Didn't ask for his name) was absolutely the definition of an amazing worker! He went above and beyond when it came to helping us and making sure that our experience was something to remember. We need more places like Permanent Vacation. Not sponsored or anything, but 10/10 and I most definitely recommend!!!"
"I come here to gain confidence skating ramps. Got a cool dragon designed RVCA and tried the coffee and kombucha. Will be back soon."
"permanent vacations raises the price of tickets to an absurd value when they know tickets are close to being sold out. for instance, they forced us to pay $70 for emo nite tickets when the republik sells the same exact tickets for $15. when I called to ask why this is, their manager was insulting and rude, and immediately had an attitude about why they are scalping the price of tickets. they offered a credit to buy items in store, which seems like a pretty terrible way of trying to sell their remaining tickets. when I told the manager I was dissatisfied, he honestly threatened me, told me he was writing down my name and number to give to the owner of the store. which is awesome, because my phone recorded the whole conversation. never in my life have I experienced more antagonizing and aggressive customer service from someone who is supposed to work in the retail industry, when I was simply asking why they raise the price of tickets by over five times the price they are sold for ($15-$70). no apologies were given, and I was hung up on by someone I assumed was over the age of 18 but acted entirely like a child. I see why this business has no one in the store or skating whenever I’ve come in to purchase tickets in the past, which by the way, they used to sell for normal prices. I also see why they don’t list a phone number for their store, as their customer service is by far the worst I’ve experienced growing up in hawaii. no aloha I don’t imagine they will stay in business very long, which is why they are resorting to extreme tactics to sell stuff in their store. I would highly advise anyone reading this to support other local businesses who do not resort to manipulative selling tactics coupled with antagonizing and toxic behaviors from their staff."
