"Their customer service is not good. Every time I go into their dive shop I feel like I am a chore to them. They’re on their phones and not engaged with their customers. They sold me a bent shaft and when I tried to return it they gave me a hard time about returning it saying their manager had to authorize it (tag was still on the spear and receipt was in hand). Thankfully you can find better dive shops on the island where the employees want you to succeed as a diver/spear-fisherman."

"For fishing needs, hanapaa has almost everything you need. There is ample parking and the people working are no nonsense knowledgeable guys. They won't smile, but they have all the information you need. Fishermen are a funny bunch with the secrecy of spots, etc... but that's the beauty of fishing. Lots of grunting and zero show of emotion beyond grumpy and anger."

"It is a smaller shop than I thought but offers amazing products and equally amazing prices. Main shop is where you wanna be for all your fishing needs. While upstairs carries an array of products to bring out the diver in you. Absolutely amazing customer service in the dive shop, had answers we were looking for. Genuinely helped with some of our concerns we had with our own equipment. 10/10 Will return & will reccomend to others."
