"My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Vive hotel. Room was clean and spacious (stayed in a junior suite) and all staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The gentleman who checked me in noticed my birthday was a few days prior to our arrival and sent a nice goodie bag to our room the next day, a very thoughtful touch. Breakfast was a nice touch with fresh fruit and a pretty good continental breakfast spread, and my wife appreciated coffee and flavored water available 24 hours a day. We also appreciated the availability to grab beach gear such as chairs and umbrellas from the hotel for use at our convenience. Overall this hotel has everything well thought out for a stay in Waikiki beach, we’d definitely stay again if ever in the area again!"

"An amazing boutique hotel just a few blocks from the beach. Breakfast included fresh fruit, pastries, egg & meat and fresh juice. Coffee and water are available all day. Beach gear available at no extra charge. Staff are all so kind & helpful. Will stay here again when in the area!"

"Vive Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel 2 blocks away from Waikiki Beach. Our room was very clean and spacious. The free breakfast offered fresh fruit in addition to the usual continental breakfast options. There is 24 hour flavored water and coffee in the lobby as well. We were able to check out chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc to bring to the beach for no additional charge. I will definitely stay here again!"

"Normally I stay on the strip but this was a short three walk block to the beach so I chose to take a chance and go with a cheaper option this time. As for the location it is close to shops, the popular Waikiki beach and for parking valet was excellent. Breakfast consisted on fresh fruit, pastries and muffins, eggs and sausage or bacon, oatmeal and juice and tea and coffee. It was better than most typical continental breakfast and coffee is available all day in the lobby at no charge. The hotel is not a high end hotel of course so don’t expect that but expect comfortable and safe. Great for families or those looking to be in a great area without paying crazy amenity fees or hotel rates. In regards to the cleaning in my room I was disappointed. I chose this hotel based on reviews about cleaning because it is important to me. Dirty sheets were left on top of the couch, a glove was left on my bedside table and on one day the bathroom was skipped altogether with toothpaste still in the sink. There were handprints on the door from a child (previous guest) and the room not vacuumed. I am not the only one that had an issue with housekeeping so I know it’s just me. I spoke with management the following day informing him of the issues as the service desk wanted me to list off the items even though I had sent the pics and was only asking that do better the next day. Spoke to Management and he was very nice, seemed to hear me but sadly each day there was an issue with housekeeping. It was not me being “picky” it was very obvious things that were skipped. My suggestion is to cross check your rooms with newer staff because it does make a difference."

"Absolutely wonderful experience. Breakfast was the best part of the trip. Delicious fresh breakfast every AM. 2 blocks from beach. Loved that the beach rental room was open to come and go as you please and you don’t have to check items out at the front desk. Hotel was very clean and relaxing. Beds were comfortable. Rooms are a tiny bit small but not an issue for two people. Highly recommend."
