Reviews of Turtle Bay Resort
"beautiful, quiet resort on the North Shore. Oahu w/out all of the business & touristy-ness of Honolulu. Apparently has been recently remodeled (?) and certainly looks and feels that way. The various activities offered - surf lessons, cowboy luau, night snorkeling, surf w/pups, were all fabulous and well organized. the grounds were immaculate and stunning. kinda like staying at a botanical garden. Stayed in the Bungalows - Gorgeous. Concierge was just fabulous - so helpful and responsive. an amazing stay in an amazing location."
"Did not stay at the resort, but at the condo complex within the property. Really beautiful property and the best part was the trail system in either direction which connected the place to other less visited beaches. Attended a wedding here, the lobby area was beautiful, the wedding ceremony was in an awesome location. The food was very good also"
"We really enjoyed our stay at the Villas. It was nice being able to have 1 unit large enough for all our family to enjoy together. Our only issue was the AC we called 3 times and it was fixed in half the unit but one unit never worked properly which made 2 of the bedrooms always too warm. Thankfully they had ceiling fans but still they should have been more comfortable. The resort is wonderful and we enjoyed the location as well being away from the congestion of Waikiki was nice."
"My wife and I recently had a stay at Turtle Bay Resort, and the one adjective that rises to the top: Exceptional. We stayed in a bungalow, and the room, amenities, design and proximity to the water were just amazing. The Ocean Club Lounge and private pool also added incredible value to the overall experience. The staff, food, and attention to detail made our stay truly world class. We have travelled extensively for both business and leisure, and this stay ranks in the top five of any destination we've visited in the world. Thank you for making this visit with family truly remarkable."
"This was our last place we decided stay at before we went home to DC… it was beautiful inside and out! We knew it was going to be a high end place with higher prices but we didn’t care about that because we do believe that you pay for what you get… there are a couple of reasons why I had to put in 4 stars… there is a $35 a day resort fee, that’s fine as they mentioned that it covers the activities but then we realized majority of the activities had an additional cost. The most annoying thing was the snorkeling and body boarding stuff… I thought the $35 fee had to at least cover us using that… nope. On top of that we noticed that random folks would come use the beach chairs and umbrellas so it was a task to hunt one down. You would think paying $900 a night they would police the chairs and umbrellas just a little. We have stayed at a lot of nice places and they do a good job making their guest their priority and they don’t have all these hidden little cost (increase the night stays and stop all the little add ons). The food at the restaurants is fire, the cleaning and garden people are the nicest, the views are breath taking and the rooms nice enough (we noticed that there were cracks on the ceilings and walls… the floors are not cleaned well so our feet were always black going to bed… we take off our shoes in the room)."
