"Great day out with the Live Bait fishing team. Capt Shannon and crew Dusty runs a clean, safe and tight ship. He handles his boat and crew professionally and helped us land a 475 pound Blue Marlin in then first two hours of our day out. The equipment was in great shape and all the gear was taken care of. Capt Shannon knows these waters off Waianae (Leeward side). I would highly recommend his charter and will go out with him again."

"We caught fish, which was good. Dusty was great! The captain doesn't play well with others. If you don't understand your own price structure then that seems like a business problem, not a customer problem. This owner may do well with a briefing from whoever runs his pricing so he doesn't take out his frustration on clients."

"I have never posted a comment or a review of any experience or service I have received before but after fishing with Capt A.J., Shannon and Stevo for some 12 trips over two years, I thought it was time to comment. Never in my life having fished in some 38 countries have i met a more knowledgeable and experienced crew. Between the three of them they have more 50 years experience in Hawaiian waters. I have never been more thoroughly impressed with a boats efficiency or work ethic if there are fish that are catch-able they will catch them. The last trip out Aug 1st we boated a beautiful 130 pound Yellow Tail. If your looking for a great experience an a chance to catch a true monster then book with these gents. A few notes. The waters an waves are big here if you are from the main land take Dramamine and prepare your self. Be on time to the boat dock leave earlier than you think is necessary esp. in tourist season and most importantly do not try to out guide the boat Captains and crew they know what they are doing. "I've been on numerous fishing charters in Hawaii. Live Bait is the best! Never been skunked, always lots of fish and Big fish. We just spent 2 days out with Shannon and Stevo, caught lots of Big Marlin. One note, if you're going to do multiple days, give your arms a day of rest between. My wife can barely lift her arms today. Lol! That's a great problem!"

"Had an awesome time! We did the 8 hour and caught 2 yellow fin. I have read some of the other views and did so before picking this one. I don’t agree with all, and some people shouldn’t be allowed to leave reviews. Review left by “May” never left a positive review. Listen it is fishing, in a large ocean. They changed baits and lures several times. Captain Shannon and deck mate worked hard to get us on fish. It can be expensive ride if the fish don’t bite. To me no different than hunting and not seeing a deer or any other game. It’s a gamble and I have been on charters that we have caught only a sunburn!
