"I really like this store. They have clean, well-maintained fish tanks, CONSISTENTLY. Customer service is also spot on. Their fish department is very small but that's probably due to the fact that these guys are a full blown PET store (Yes, I'm a fish enthusiast, nothing more. Sorry to disappoint)... And perhaps why their tanks are always beautiful. Less to clean haha. On occasion, I can find something different or exotic, something maybe that I just want, and these are reasons for my periodic visits. It's never a wasted visit. I, honestly, have another favorite store, but it's comparing apples and oranges. A few times, I found difficult-to-obtain rainbowfish here. Anyone that's lived in Hawaii and has been involved long enough and with any intensity, knows you shop around, find the good stores, and then do your rounds. Kalihi Pet Center is definitely on my circuit"
