"I was most fortunate to be connected to Alex and Taylor of South & Home to update and refurnish a home I had on my oceanfront Poipu property. I had two additional homes as well on this property that had been previously remodeled a number of years ago and the trick was to have this home blend nicely with the other two. Another challenge was that I was on the mainland for different stages of the project and I found I could completely trust them with all aspects of my job. Alex and Taylor had great suggestions for some minor remodeling and to incorporate furniture I already had and found just what we needed elsewhere. They were extremely mindful of my budget, absolutely delightful to work with, always gave me 2 or 3 choices of furniture and accessories they suggested and were totally honest and accountable for everything they purchased. In fact at the end of the job, which was right on schedule, gave me money back for items they purchased for less than they budgeted for. Another great relief for me not being there, was they personally handled and oversaw all the trades brought in for painting, cleaning, electrical, plumbing, moving furniture and minor repairs.
